Since the first edition of Raising Awesome Kids was last updated, much has happened in our world. For example, the Internet has become accessible to everyone. Our kids have computer savy that astounds us, and we need to be ready to guide them and protect them...not only on the Internet, but in every other area of their lives as well. Jesus is to be Lord of all areas, and the Laings help us know how to communicate and model this understanding to our kids.

We are grateful to be able to have an updated version of this classic for parents. The Laings are eager to share with you even more about how to be a parent who has the greatest influence on your children's lives.

Along with updating throughout the book, the Laings will include the following new chapters:

“Anxious Parents"—Discusses the “over-parenting” syndrome: doing kids’ homework; having them in every sport, school play, competition; mapping out their life; worrying if they will succeed. The message: let them be children and let them play.
